The Valley of the Sun affords the rare opportunity to ride the thermals high above the desert floor.  You'll gradually ascend into the sky behind a tow plane. Then comes the exhilarating moment when you are released from the tow and experience an engineless glider flight. You can even fly the plane! Your pilot will familiarize you with your surroundings and educate you on the basic flying techniques. 

Your pilot will also log your flight in your Official Glider Pilot's logbook. It's a great souvenir of this unique and memorable activity.
