Chapter growth is a fantastic thing. If we increase our membership, we benefit by having additional Forums, bigger and better learning events, and a larger personal and professional network.

With the momentum of last year's growth, our chapter board set the 100-member mark as a top goal this fiscal year. That means that we’ll welcome into our chapter 35 more dynamic and successful entrepreneurs from our community in FY2007/2008. 

To reach that goal by 1 April 2008 and have a little fun along the way, we recently launched our new member referral plan called the “EOSF 100.” With this program, we’re able to provide a great incentive to our current members who recruit their friends and business associates eligible for EO membership.

Here’s how the program works: Beginning retroactively to 1 July 2007 and continuing through 1 April 2008, the first Forum to refer 10 new prospects – who then become paying members of our chapter by 1 April 2008 – will be rewarded with iPhones for each member of that Forum. Talk about bragging rights!!!

To qualify, all referrals must be made through a link we provided. We periodically communicate to the Forums about where each group ranks in the program, and how they should refer other members early and often so that their Forum has a better chance of winning. We also stress that it’s the chapter growth – and not the iPhones – that is the ultimate and long-term payoff.
