As outlined in the Entrepreneurs’ Organization’s Five-Year Strategic Plan, one of our key goals is increased external brand awareness and the opportunities it provides. We would like to share some of our recent success in this strategic area.

EO has recently appeared in several positive news stories and blogs, and here are a few of the various media hits we have received in the past few weeks:

• The U.S. Wall Street Journal's "Independent Street" blog on 18 October. The blog’s author wrote about some of the findings from a U.S. member survey that EO Global conducted in early October.
• EO had a mention in BusinessWeek on 22 October. The article discusses young entrepreneurship and how "running your own business is considered cooler than ever." We couldn't agree more! In the article, EO’s Chairman-Elect David Galbenski is quoted as saying, "Millenials in particular want to be able to control their own destinies, and entrepreneurship allows them to do this." The article goes on to say that the "… number of EO members in the 18-to-35-year-old age group has more than tripled since 2001 to 3,356, and Galbenski expects entrepreneurship to become increasingly attractive to young people." • The U.S. Wall Street Journal’s "Independent Street" blog on 6 November. The same blogger from 18 October – Wendy Bounds, lead writer for "Independent Street" – features EO again, with a new focus on EO Forums and how they are "group therapy for business owners." • Also on 6 November, Wendy Bounds’ full article appeared in the Wall Street Journal. Titled "‘Entrepreneurial Therapy’: Deals, Divorce, Downsizing," she goes into more detail about Forum, Gestalt Language Protocol and the other hallmarks of EO’s number one benefit.
